I’ve only had the gloves for a day, but I transplanted 3 cactus to new pots without injury. So far they are perfect- they look and feel great
Edit: a couple days later I can confirm these are great gloves! They are soft and comfortable, and stand up to my spiniest cactus.

I am the gardener of the household and became fed up getting scratches and splinters from using cheap poor quality gloves with limited protection. Thus the hunt for a quality pair of gloves began.
The one main thing I don't like about buying any kind of clothing online is that you never really know how they will fit, so I am usually very reluctant to buy online.
These gloves had great reviews but what really sold me was the sizing chart that could be used to determine the required size.
Having received these gloves they are very good quality. The leather fingers and palms seem to provide good protection, and they look pretty smart, with the colors being attractive for both males and females.
Now the main area I was concerned about, the fit. The first thing to say is do not guess your size, using the picture of the sizing chart to determine your size. I measured my hand before ordering and it was 8 ¼ inch's. The sizing chart says 7.5 to 8 is small and 8.5 to 9 is medium. I was directly between the 2 and decided to opt for the larger medium size, and I am so glad I did. These gloves provide a really snug fit and the mediums fit me like a glove (pun intended).
What I like:
- Good quality glove and should last me at least a year
- Good protection with leather fingers and palms.
- Good snug fit. I have seen complaints that these gloves are not good for work requiring manual dexterity. This may well be true but I would go for protection every time. If you want dexterity take the gloves off.

I have been gardening for years now. Gardening in southern Alabama is much like warfare. I battle giant bugs, extreme weather and crazy weeds in defense of small food producing plants in the hope that I will have fresh organic food to feed my family at the end of the season. My garden often suffers extreme casualties and I often end up losing more than half of what I plant. Old timers think I am nuts trying to garden organically in Alabama and I think they are nuts willingly ingesting all those chemicals. Not to be defeated, I garden on a HUGE scale. I figure if I can keep an acre or more planted in fruit trees and bushes and vegetable plants, I will certainly harvest something. And my strategy works. I typically have more food than I need and can and freeze plenty each year. But that also means I work hard. I do not garden with a tractor. I use a shovel, a rake and a hoe for most of what I do. And my hands. So a really good pair of garden gloves means the difference between blisters and getting up the next good weather day and working long hours again. After wearing holes in yet another pair of the gloves I purchased a couple of years ago, I needed a new pair. The Exemplary Gardens Leather Gardening Gloves in a size small sounded exactly like what I needed. So I bought them. The leather palms are extremely soft and supple. I can move my hands easily. I retain plenty of dexterity for the work I do gardening.
These gloves look great! The brown and cream colors are extremely attractive.
These gloves appear to be very high quality. I suspect they will last for quite a long time, even with the extreme gardening I do. I have owned them for a few weeks and they have seen a lot of work already. They show little signs of wear.

Very nice work gloves! I have a very small hand and often wear a brace on one hand so the Velcro will allow me to wear it without hurting my thumb (due to arthritis) by squeezing it through a small wrist opening. So pretty I'll hate to get them dirty. :)

Super fast delivery - as advertised and right size. The gloves fit nicely, breathe very well, and the velcro strap looks like it will last and work pretty well - makes the glove feel a bit more snug. As others mentioned, the leather is very soft & supple ... not thin, but will not stop thorns as well as heavier work gloves.

I really hate to admit it but while I love to garden, I absolutely had to try to dig the dirt out from under my fingernails. I've tried the cloth type gardening gloves but find that they offer little to no protection against thorns and still let dirt get through, defeating the purpose for me. With this pair of gloves, I get protection from the thorns on my rose bushes while not having dirt get through when I am planting. The velcro adjustment on the wrist makes sure I get the perfect fit and don't have to worry about the gloves coming off when I'm doing some heavy weeding. I appreciate the mesh on the back of the gloves as this allows my hands to breathe and not get overheated or sweaty while working. The goat skin leather is super soft, moves easily yet is strong. Exemplary Gardens has done a great job creating an excellent gardening glove that comes in a color suitable for both men and women. I ordered a medium, which is my normal glove size and they fit perfectly! The only problem I can see with these gloves is keeping my husband from confiscating them for himself, lol Overall, I found the gloves to be made from great quality leather, fit as expected and offering protection while allowing your hands to move freely.

The leather on these gloves is superb. Thick enough to stop thorns but soft and with enough stretch to give good feel and control. I'll be buying these again!

These gloves fit like, well, a glove, seem to be quite sturdy and are the nicest set of gardening gloves I've ever used. The wrist strap makes them very secure. They are a great set of gloves at a great price.

These gloves are great: they are sturdy and well-made, and breathe well. I love having leather tips on all the fingers, not just the thumb and first two, as so many gloves have now. I go through at LEAST a pair of gloves a gardening year - last year it was two pair - so I am very much looking forward to having gloves that last. These are not ideal for fine work requiring delicacy, but I never use gloves for planting seedlings or picking beetles off veggies anyway. I WAS able to pick up (gingerly) a bunch of pruned rose branches without any thorns going through the palms. Customer service was great too - the gloves arrived very quickly.

Absolutely beautiful leather, so soft, and an excellent fit. It seems a shame to get them dirty. Exceeded my expectations, superb quality at such a reasonable price!

I have been through a number of pairs of gardening gloves in the search for something lightweight and flexible enough to give me grip, but robust enough to protect my hands. These are exactly right: Good quality, excellent fit, with breathable uppers and lovely flexible leather palms to stop those pesky brambles digging in. I love them. Excellent, friendly customer service from the seller too.

Purchased for use by my daughter-in-law when she visited for a few days to help in the garden. If I tell you she managed to fill 17 large green garden waste bags after chopping through overrown foliage without a single blemish on her hands - absolutely fantastic. Of course I must give them full marks. An excellent product. Thank you.

Great gloves. Snug enough for precision weeding and brambles, nettles and roses are unable to penetrate so far. Recommended.

These are very comfortable gloves. They are well made. The leather does a good job of protecting my hands from spines. These are good gloves for working with cactus or other spiny plants.
