Rose Pruning Gloves

I ordered the yellow leather gloves in the small size. The cowhide gauntlet cuff is thick and protective. The goatskin palm and fingers allows for great dexterity. My sister used the gloves to prune a long hedge of bougainvillea and loved them. I'm a woman with short fingers and a wide palm - the small size fits perfectly. Great quality product!

These gloves are amazing! I didn't quite believe the reviews could be true but they are. I have spent the last few weeks clearing 10ft high brambles and nettles without any thorns in my hands. I can't recommend these gloves enough.

I bought these to use for trail clearing in Arizona, where every plant is festooned with spikes and ready to shred lesser gloves. When doing battle with fearsome brush, especially Cat Claw, these gloves did the job. The glove part over the hands did a good job of protecting my hands when picking up cuttings and grabbing stalks to move for access to a cut point. The cow leather forearm part did an excellent job of protecting my arms when reaching deep inside a murderous needle-equipped Death Bush.

Bought for my elderly mother in law who despite her near blindness insists on doing her own gardening, resulting in many battle scars on the forearms. These gauntlet style gloves should improve the level of injuries incurred, the hand part is a good quality supple leather, and the gauntlet part a tougher more protective suede. Ordered in the Maroon, they are a rich deep colour that would suit either men or women. Sizing was perfect for my husband, and we hope will suit mother too. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase, the seller shipped very quickly, they arrived earlier than expected and were well packed.

Very nice quality with supple leather with excellent flexibility on the hand sections. They run a bit larger than expected. I would highly recommend these gloves!

Being able to work with my roses without getting all scratched up is wonderful! Since I live in a desert, there are not many flowers that I can grow, but roses is one of them. I relish my rose garden, and my bushes are around four feet tall and wide. Being able to get inside of them to prune my rose bushes has been a bit of a hassle, but not anymore. These very comfortable gloves keep my hands and arms safe from those so very sharp thorns. I can poke my arms right into the middle of the bush to prune out branches that I no longer want.

Every home needs a pair of these gloves even if you don't garden! They are very well made and the fit was perfect! I didn't use the size chart, I just ordered Medium which is what I normally get in a glove and they were a perfect fit! The hand is a soft leather that moves freely with your hand. I love the length of the arm guard. I have long arms and they still came up to my elbow! These gloves are very well constructed and the leather is stitched so that they should last you for years! I used them trimming my roses and not one scratch! I could even get into the middle of the large bush without scratches and that is unusual for me since I always look like me and the rose bush had a fight and I lost after pruning, lol. If you use cut wood at all, then these gloves would also be great to carry the wood without harming your skin or clothing. My husband wants to steal them for clearing brush and briers from the property, which is another good idea. There are lots of uses for these gloves beside gardening that you might want to get 2 pair. They would make a great gift for the man or woman that has everything!

l love my roses, but hate getting stuck by thorns. I have tried different gloves and either the thorns go through them or they are to short. These leather garden gloves are exactly what I have been looking for. The glove part is very soft and comfortable. The extended glove is also soft and covers the entire lower arm. No thorns penetrated through the gloves. Not even close. I was able to trim my roses in half the time because I didn't have to worry about being scratched. I also have some problems with contact allergies from plants. I can pull any weeds without getting a rash. These gloves are very durable and they are the only gloves I use now.

These are the best gloves! We are clearing a large area where there are monstrous amounts of black berry bushes. Before buying these gloves, I had punctures and scratches all over my arms. NOT ANYMORE! For protection and ability to work through the clean out of these types of thorns BUY THESE! I have small hands and the extra-small size is perfect. I would say the sizing is true to form.

Bought these to help me tackle an overgrown collection of raspberry, blackberry, and grape plants at the back of our yard. These puppies kept my hands and arms thorn free and that is the exact thing I was looking for in a pair of gloves. I would highly recommend these gloves. No idea about sizes, but I usually wear a medium glove and the mediums fit me, well, like a glove.

The gloves are beautiful, soft as butter, excellent coverage works great handling all my garden plants.

Purchased these gloves primarily to work in and around my Pygmy Date Palms. They have long VERY SHARP thorns in the interior of the leaf structure. These gloves allow me to dive in without fear of getting stuck. The long sleeves protect my forearms. No more 'battle wounds' ! You'll note in the picture attached that these thorns are not like tiny rose bush thorns, but rather some very sharp and seem to have some kind of substance on them that produces irritation, discomfort and itching for 24-36 hours after injury. Got the burgundy ones (no wine but gardening first) I love the gloves especially as they are cfortable and I am totally protected from nettles and rose thorns.

We just bought a house in Florida and it has 3 palm bushes with huge thorns. I bought these for my husband so he can trim them. I measured his hand and it was in the small range but I got him a medium and it fits perfectly.

These are a wow. I know it said for rose thorns/bushes but I bought them for a different purpose and it was to trim this plant not sure what it is called but see pictures. The tips are a hard thorn type that hurts a lot. These gloves are amazing for it. These gloves are the Rolls Royce of gloves. Soft and well made. Highly recommended. Can't say enough good things about them. Buy without hesitation.

These gloves were badly needed for my husband has about 50 knockout roses to prune. He was always getting scratched and we could not find rose pruning gloves big enough for his hands. We were very glad to find these and they fit perfectly. Thank you

Best rose gloves I've ever had. Others have yielded pricks through fingers despite being leather since the hide was so thin. These are thick, and the fingers fit perfectly...also an issue with other gloves since, although my fingers are not exceptionally long, other gloves didn't quite reach to base of each finger....these "fit like a glove." The gauntlet portion is also thick, and long, offering superb protection. Because I have arthritis in some of my fingers, I was leery of what size would best work for accommodating those joints. The pair I purchased are a 'small'...again all aspects are great. I've already used them to prune ~ 20 roses bushes, and could not be happier. As an aside, my cat likes them too, when I'm not using them!
